Variety Spices Up Workouts for New GRAVITYSystem
New Programming Announced for efi Sports Medicine’s Popular Program
SAN DIEGO — efi Sports Medicine has announced “CoreDynamics” and “Blast,” two new comprehensive programs for the award-winning GRAVITYSystem. Each program comes with an instruction manual and a 30-minute video, designed for trainers who are experienced GRAVITYSystem instructors.
Already at dozens of gyms around the country, the GRAVITYSystem is an exciting and efficient revenuegenerating program that combines Group Strength, Pilates and Personal Training classes with one piece
of equipment - the GTS™.
Attendees at the IHRSA Convention in San Francisco on March 17-19 can experience GRAVITYSystem’s CoreDynamics and Blast for themselves during presentations at booth #1835.
CoreDynamics™ is a 30-minute group exercise class that builds on the popular trend of “fusing” multiple workout disciplines. The unique combination of strength, endurance and Pilates-based exercises makes CoreDynamics an engaging group workout providing participants the benefits of strength training with body awareness and core integration.
“CoreDynamics is perfect for introducing beginners to Pilates,” says Rob Glick, national program developer for CRUNCH Fitness and member of efi’s development team for the GRAVITYSystem. “Clubs and participants are looking for longevity of fitness programs and a wide selection of classes. Our variety of GRAVITY programs offers something for everyone.”
GRAVITYBlast™ is designed to attract new members and introduce them to the program in a fun, spontaneous manner. Announced five minutes before they begin, the five different Blast classes are concentrated, 15-minute superset workouts that focus on specific muscle groups: back and chest, biceps and triceps, abdominals, legs and shoulders.
The GRAVITYSystem’s four basic programming disciplines (Group Training, Pilates, Personal Training and Post-Rehab) are all part of GRAVITY4Programming and each is conducted on the GTS machine. The GTS is a gravity-training device that encourages functional resistance training by using an individual’s body weight as resistance, utilizes a dynamic cable and pulley system and free-moving glideboard. Able to adjust to eight different levels of resistance, the machine engages all major muscle groups and facilitates more than 250 strength training, stretching and Pilates exercises. The unique combination of functional exercise and four-way programming is building significant interest among club members and bringing an early return on investment to club owners.
