Fritz Zahnd

Fritz Zahnd teaches exercise physiology at the Physiotherapy School at the University Hospital in Zürich, Switzerland, as well as postgraduate courses for Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy and Medical Exercise Therapy throughout Europe.

Fritz received his physical therapy training in Switzerland and his postgraduate OMT in Norway with F.M. Kaltenborn and O. Evjenth. Other postgraduate studies include Training and Fitness at the Institute of Sport at the University of Basel, Switzerland, Health & Fitness Instructor Certificate of the American College of Sports Medicine ACSM, and Rehabilitation of Heart Diseases at the Swiss Association of Heart Rehabilitation.

Fritz is a founding member of the Swiss Association for Orthopaedic Manipulative Physiotherapy. He works as a private practitioner in Zürich, Switzerland and as an international instructor for Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy and Medical Exercise Therapy. His special interest is the rehabilitation of spinal disorders especially of spinal instability.
