Robert Pfund
PT OMT, MAppSc, Graduate Certificate for Advanced Manipulative Therapy, Germany Robert Pfund was trained as a physiotherapist in Germany with postgraduate work completed for his OMT in the Kaltenborn-Evjenth Concept for manual therapy. Further postgraduate work was completed at the University of South Australia for a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Manipulative Physiotherapy and a Master of Science in Physiotherapy. Robert is a private practitioner in the south of Germany and teaches courses for Orthopedic Manual Therapy throughout Europe and abroad. He is the clinical supervisor for the Swiss, German and Austrian OMT program. Robert is a member of the final examination committee for the (combined Maitland and Kaltenborn approach) OMT program in Europe. Published in the German Manual Therapy Journal, Robert has also written a case together with Freddy Kaltenborn in the published book Clinical Reasoning for Manual Therapists from Mark Jones and Darren Rivett. His special interest in manual therapy includes the specific differentiation of musculoskeletal dysfunction, the physiological basis for examination and treatment, the influence of pain on clinical findings, and medical training exercise therapy. Robert has spent nearly half of his practical time with medical training and therapeutic exercise for acute and chronic musculoskeletal patients. |
