Accept Only a Genuine Total Gym

Beware of Counterfeits.

A great product breeds imitators. It has come to the attention of efi Sports Medicine that several counterfeit products are being sold as "Total Gym" through various merchants, online and off.

Please note that these products are not manufactured by efi Sports Medicine® or any of its licensees. These products are not held to the high engineering and manufacturing standards of efi Sports Medicine products and do not provide the functional capabilities of efi Sports Medicine products. These products do not have a Total Gym serial number. They are not warranted by efi Sports Medicine, Total Gym Fitness LLC or FitnessQuest® Inc. Legal action is imminent.

How to tell a genuine Total Gym from a counterfeit.

The counterfeit products may look similar Total Gym, but their construction is not Total Gym construction. They may use the word "Total" in their product name, or "Gym," or both, in an attempt to attract customers to purchase their inferior products. They may use the combined word "totalgym" as a descriptor.

Beware of Knock-offs, too.

In an attempt to capitalize on the popularity and success of Total Gym, companies that manufacture knock-off products have sprung up in the marketplace, online and off. Their products copy many aspects of Total Gym and sport names that are similar but not identical to Total Gym as a means of luring an unsuspecting public into purchasing inferior products.

Why insist on a genuine Total Gym?

efi Sports Medicine has supplied Total Gym to the sports training and physical therapy communities for more than three decades. Total Gym products from efi Sports Medicine are trusted in hospitals, clinics, federal and regional government facilities, colleges and universities. These Total Gyms are held to the highest engineering standards for safety, durability and efficacy. Licensed Total Gym products also meet efi Sports Medicine's stringent licensing agreement standards.

Approved Total Gym Licensees

efi Sports Medicine®, originator of Total Gym® and owner of the Total Gym name, has licensed the use of the Total Gym name to American Telecast.

Their company, Total Gym Fitness LLC, manufactures, has certain direct response television distribution rights, and provides the warranty for their products sold via infomercial [link to History of efi 5.6c]. The following Total Gym models have been made available through Total Gym Fitness, LLC: Total Gym 2000, Total Gym 3000, Total Gym 3000 XL and Total Gym XL.

efi Sports Medicine and Total Gym Fitness, LLC, with permission of efi Sports Medicine, have developed and own the intellectual property rights covering Total Gym in the United States and worldwide. efi Sports Medicine and Total Gym Fitness, LLC will periodically monitor the Internet to protect these rights, including copyright and trademark violations.

Authorized: Fitness Quest

Fitness Quest is also authorized by efi Sports Medicine to supply specific Total Gym products for sale through authorized Internet sites, retail stores, catalogs and home shopping: Total Gym 1000, Total Gym 1500, Total Gym Ultra, Total Gym Max, Total Gym Pro and Total Gym 1700 Club.

No other entity has the legal right to make, offer, sell or distribute Total Gym® products. If a product is made or purchased through an unauthorized source, be aware that the warranty for such products is not valid and will not be honored by efi Sports Medicine.
